The Elizabeth Park Project - Trenton Michigan - silvrwhls

This is an old photograph (1995). This far north east point of the park no longer exists. It was dozed to create new landscaping a new walk way. This was my favorite part of the park because of it's century old trees and original waterline where the canal and the Detroit River met. The tree in the background slowly leaned out over time and arched out over the river. My wife and I as teenagers sat under this tree to catch the sunrise multiple times.
